Poppy Knight scored her first try for the club as Thamesians beat a spirited London Welsh side in their penultimate league game of the season.
Emily Powell made the break down the left before feeding Poppy, 18, who showed her strength and pace to touch down in the corner to put Ts ahead.
Emelia Arbouine was next to cross the Welsh line, running in from half way for Aoibhin O’Connor to convert.
Another line break by EP saw Aminah Olaniyan on her shoulder, and the prop ran straight through the first defender before offloading brilliantly out the next tackle for Emily Ward to score.
London Welsh did score a try in each half, but second half tries by Amber Attack, another Ts teenager, and a second long-range special by Emelia, both converted by Aoibhin, secured the bonus point victory.

Thamesians Women were able to celebrate their 15th win of the season at the club’s Awards night on Saturday, where the following players picked up the trophies:
