Following a narrow defeat to Finsbury Park the previous week the boys were in the mood to put things right.
A strong squad assembled and orders were given from head coach Stu (who was soaking up the Californian sun) and the lads were ready to go.
The game started with Uxbridge winning a penalty early on and kicking for the posts, 0 - 3 Uxbridge, but that’s all they were going to get.
The lads ran riot over 80mins scoring 7 tries in the process. “The most complete performance in the 12 years I’ve been at the club” - said Club chairman Rory O’Riley.
The game ended 43-3 with the attack taking all the plaudits let’s take nothing away from the defensive effort, Uxbridge wanted nothing more than to score but the squad fought hard celebrating its defence the same as its attack.
Thamesians head to north London next against a UCS side who are 12 unbeaten, a game we’re all looking forward to.
