Newly promoted Thamesians Women won their third game on the bounce to go joint top of the league.
Following impressive bonus point wins over Chobham (24-14) and East London Vixens (26-17) Thamesians put in another big performance to beat a strong Welwyn Womens side 20-10 at home on Sunday.
Sarah Brindley opened the scoring, finishing off a powerful forward drive, before Laiba Rahman and Emily Powell ran in brilliant long range tries.
Jemma Smith, who won forward of the match, kicked a conversion and penalty.
Back of the match was Sophie McLaren, making her debut on the wing – and two try-saving tackles.
As always, the girls really appreciated the touchline support from current and old Thamesians.
Next up is a top-of-the-table clash against Wasps at home on Saturday, November 4.
