Another brilliant team performance saw Thamesians Women complete a home and away league double over third-placed Wasps to go back to the top of NC1.
Tries by Chloe Nash, Emily Powell, Emelia Arbouine and Sydney Hayden-Fry secured a valuable bonus point win, with Amber Sheppard adding one conversion.
Slotting in at 12, Sydney’s long-range try was the pick of the four – and her first for the club.
Phoebe Sloley, who set up Chloe’s opening try with a storming run, was forward of the match. Poppy Knight, making her first start on the wing, was voted best back by her teammates – and did just as well to down her winning pint!
It’s a long journey to second-placed Sudbury next Sunday, February 18th, but your support really does make a difference and is much appreciated by the Team.
